Release Day Review: Jock Rule (Jock Hard #2) by Sara Ney

Now available on

Synopsis:

Kip Carmichael is no pretty boy.

He's a rough. Dirty. Giant. Hair so unruly, and a beard so thick, his friends on the team call him Sasquatch.

The first time Sasquatch lays eyes on Theodora "Teddy" Johnson across the keg at a party one night on Jock Row, she'd been relegated to the sidelines by her jock hungry "friends."

Week-after-week, he watches beautiful but bashful Teddy getting overshadowed, and overlooked. Sasquatch finally broad shoulders his way through the crowd, offering to be her hairy godmother. But the minute their eyes meet? He's a goner.

Teaching her the RULES for winning a jock will be the easy part. Not falling in love with her is going to be a losing game.

Review:

I loved Jock Rule so so much! It was so sweet and fun and hot and everything! Such an amazing read!

Kip's family is super rich, but he has had it with people being with him just because of that. He doesn't want to deal with it anymore so he has grown out his hair and beard to ward off the women. Which made me laugh so so much. In the beginning he is describing how the beard and hair kept back in a bun would repel the women and man he sounded so freakin hot it was hilarious. Because we all know beards are in, he is just out of the loop. He is not going to get involved with anyone, just finish school and focus on that.

Teddy lives with her "best friend" who sounds like a horrible person. She just uses Teddy and never does anything for her. I don't know why Teddy puts up with it. It seems to be one of those they have been friends forever so you make excuses for their horrible behavior kind of things.

When Kip first sees Teddy he is intrigued. She is at a rugby house party, but even though she is in the center of a crowd she is alone. And he watches how her friends come and steal anyone away who happens to come to talk to her. When she comes back week after week he can't help but wonder about her. Because she doesn't seem to fit in. So he decides to help her find a jock to date. That is why she is there right?

These two were so much fun to read! With Kip trying not to fall for Teddy and Teddy inexperienced and so sweet it was amazing. I loved them together. He is one of those big teddy bears and she is exactly what he needs but doesn't know. I loved how they slowly came together and oh, it was fun! And freakin hot when they start to realize they may be more than just friends. I loved how everything worked out for these two. This is definitely going on the re-read list (I may have re-read it already...)
