Synopsis:

The beer's not the only thing getting tapped.

Reid

I have a problem. A doe-eyed brunette in the form of my new co-worker. She’s taken my promotion and I intend to do everything in my power to get it back. To prove I’m the man for the job.

Nobody warned me that one night with her would change everything.

Callie

The rules are simple. Complete two months of training at my new job at On Tap Brewery and I’ll keep my manager position. Fail, and I’ll have to crawl back to my parents and die a slow and painful death at a desk job.

I never would’ve guessed I’d have to choose between this promotion…or love.

Review:

Tap That was so much fun! I had read both of these authors before so when I saw that they were writing a story together I knew I needed to read it. And it did not disappoint. Callie and Reid have that whole hate each other but really like each other thing going on. And I loved it!

Callie needs her job at the microbrewery. She doesn't know what she will do if she loses it, but she is not going to lose it. Even though she hates beer she can do this job. She is sure of it. Even if she does get herself in some pretty humorous situations.

Reid wants the promotion to manager at the microbrewery where he has been working forever. He knows his stuff, he is a great worker, he knows he can do this. Only his boss brings in an outsider to train for the position. Callie. He will do whatever it takes to get what should have been his, no matter that he is super attracted to her. That he kind of wants to make out with her and starts to like her and all that. No, he has to keep his eye on the prize. And that gets a bit messy.

I loved Callie and Reid together. They both want the same job and Reid was not the nicest when they start out. He knows Callie's secrets, and she really shouldn't like him, but he is also secretly so sweet and kind and caring. He is kind of wonderful and his mysterious Thursday nights don't help her keep her distance. And Callie is a sweetheart even if Reid is a bit of a jerk. When they start to get closer they were wonderful together. Of course they can't date or anything, no fraternizing at work, but how can they keep away? They were a lot of fun and it takes some of them a bit of time to figure out what they need to do, what is right in front of them, what is really important, but in the end it is worth it. Because these two were meant to be together they just have to figure everything else out first.
