Synopsis:

I had always been the invisible art student in high school.
Passed by. Glossed over. Unnoticed.
Now I was Aria Watson… that girl.

After one bad decision, and being labeled a slut, I was no longer unseen. I was the whore. The ignoramus. The tramp.
I would never be invisible again.

Particularly to Levi Myers. He was the odd boy with the beautiful soul who accepted and understood the broken girl inside me.

Falling in love wasn’t the plan. But how could I resist his promises of hope? Of forgiveness? Of a future I had stopped dreaming of?
We were shattered. We were scarred. We were something strange and beautiful.

We were two lost souls holding on to the only thing that could keep us together.

Each other.

Review:

Oh Art & Soul how wonderful were you? I just love Brittainy C. Cherry. She is a relatively new to me author and I love everything I have read of hers. It always leaves me wanting to read more. She writes amazing characters and stories that won't leave you once you get to the end of the book.

This is the amazing story of Aria and Levi. Aria who was always the invisible weird artsy girl with only her friend Simon by her side, but that all is about to change. She made a stupid mistake and once people find out she can't hide anymore. Everyone knows who she is, but not for a reason she would like. She is even more of an outcast now and wishes she could go back to being that invisible girl.

Levi just moved to town. He had been living with his mom in a small, secluded house in the woods, but he decided he needed to live with his dad now. He needed to try and get to know his father before it is too late. Before he is too old and just can't connect with him. He wants so badly to figure out what went wrong, why he stopped writing his annual birthday cards. He just wants to connect with his one parent while getting a break from the other.

On the first day of school Levi notices Aria. He can't not notice her. I loved Levi so much. One of the popular guys tries to befriend him on his first day, but that kid will only talk about girls in a way that makes Levi a bit uncomfortable. You see Levi is a bit of an outcast himself even if he is hot. Oh he was amazing. His thoughts on people and how he saw the world was so awesome. Even when he finds out everything that is going on with Aria, which would be too much for most seventeen year olds, he doesn't care. He can be open, can share, can be himself with her. And he wants to help her too. To be there for her through everything. He was amazing.

Really the two of them together were too cute. Their back and forth was hilarious and you could just see the connection. I know they are young, but man I wanted them to live happily ever after. I know they both have a lot going on, both of them have their issues, but I just wanted everything to work out and be okay. I just wanted to fix everything somehow. I was also dreading the inevitable bad times that I knew would come as these two already have enough to deal with. I just loved them to pieces.

And Simon? Aria's best friend? I loved him as well. And Awkward Abigail and the whole bunch. They were so freaking cute and wonderful and I wish I knew them in real life. I wish I could give them big hugs and hang out with them. They all have so much going on and with a different author it might have felt cheesy or too much, but this one wrote it perfectly. It made sense, I believed it, it didn't feel contrived or anything. There were ups and downs, and things with Levi and Aria proceed very slowly, but oh it was amazing to read. Truly this was an amazing story. I didn't want it to end. I didn't want to have to say goodbye. Definitely give this book and this author a read. Simply fantastic.
