Review:

Red & Wolfe, Part 4 is the last part of the Red & Wolfe novella series. It was probably my favorite part. It was a bit more intense dealing with everything that is happening and Wolfe dealing with his past, and it was fun. 

 This last section was not so much about the sexy times, but about Wolfe dealing with everything that is happening. Trying to keep Red safe and figure out how to do that with everything that happened with Cookie coming back. It was more intense than the other ones and I was just reading as quickly as I could to see what would happen. 

 Overall this series was a fun read. Sure Red was annoying at times, she didn't always make sense to me, but it was enjoyable. It felt kind of like the authors first foray into bdsm writing. It wasn't as intense that way as the later dark, erotic fairy tales from her. It was like bdsm light. I could be wrong about that, but the sexy time just wasn't as intense in that way as I was expecting. A good read, but feels like the author was just getting her feet wet. Really if you enjoyed this series I highly recommend Hansel as a erotic fairy tale taken a step farther.

Best of 2019

If any of you are following along then you may have noticed that 2019 was not the most consistent year for me. I have been posting less and less and I finally came to the conclusion that I need a break. A break from writing reviews. A break from reading things I have to read to review. A break from being on a schedule and blogging, at least for a bit. I will still update my Goodreads with ratings for books I read, maybe a line or two about the book, but I need a break. I need to not have the stress of getting things read and posted and all of that. It has become something I don't enjoy so if I am ever going to get back on the blogging train I need a break. So I am not sure I will be posting in 2020. I will see how it goes. Life got super crazy (in a good way!) in 2019 so I also haven't had or wanted to carve out the time to blog.
