Synopsis:

A full-length, standalone romance from the New York Timesbestselling author of Archer's Voice.

Kira Dallaire is desperate.

Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money, and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant twenty-two-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan, possibly her most outrageous idea yet.

Grayson Hawthorn is losing hope.

Some obstacles in life seem too hard to overcome. Betrayal definitely being one of them. With limited capital, and dwindling resources, he is attempting to resurrect his failing family vineyard, a self-imposed vow seemingly destined to fail. That is until a young woman enters his office with an outlandish, unexpected proposition impossible to refuse.

What begins as a temporary business arrangement, soon evolves into more as vivacious, spirited Kira challenges detached, arrogant Grayson to want more from life. To want more for himself. But as their wills clash and fiery passion ignites, they'll realize that sometimes the past creates walls too difficult to climb, and that lies and deception rarely precede a happily every after.

As Kira and Grayson race toward their destiny, they will discover that some vows are meant to be broken, and others are worth risking everything for . . . even your very own heart.

THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY LIBRA. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Review:

Gah - Mia Sheridan really knows how to make you feel the feels. While Greyson's Vow was not as devastating as some of her books (I'm looking at you Kyland) that doesn't mean it wasn't just as amazing. Really I started reading it and loving it, but thought good this is not going to make me an emotional mess before I have to go out and meet my friends. Only by the end it did. I teared up because it was just so beautiful! Oh Mia Sheridan, you get me to feel all the feels for these amazing characters!

Kira and Greyson - there are not two people more perfect for each other. I loved them both, loved watching them grow closer and work through things and be better people because they know the other. I just loved them so much! They both get the other person and phew were they hot together!

Kira is one of the sweetest, kindest, nicest people. She has such a huge heart that she shares with those who need it. She is always giving, always trying to make things just a little bit better for those who don't have much. She is this ray of sunshine that you can't help but love. Man the things she does to help others, the things she does for those she cares about...absolutely amazing. Yes she has crazy ideas, and they don't always work out the way she planned, but she was so much fun. She has this youthful exuberance that just makes you happy. She has not always had it easy, she has a lot that has happened to her that would have crushed others spirits until they were nothing, but she just picks herself back up, dusts herself off and gets on with it.

"There is always pain in this life. Not just for me, not just for you - for everyone. You can't avoid it. And sometimes the pain is so great it feels as if it carves out the very essence of who you are. But it doesn't, not if you don't allow it to. It carves out a place in you, yes, but love is meant to fill that space. If you let it, pain makes more space for love within you. And the love we carry inside makes us strong when nothing else can."

Greyson has not had the easiest of lives either. Always reminded by his dad and stepmom how he is not wanted, how much they hate him, it was rough. When you learn everything that happened, man I could  just cry for the child he was. He does get in some trouble with the law and ends up doing time. Now the people in his town don't know him, don't want to know him, as he is an ex con. They are so judgemental it is terrible. He really is a good man, but he has a lot of hurt inside. Since he got out he has not really been living, not until his little witch comes into his life.

When Kira comes to him with her business proposition to help him save his winery and her to get out from under her fathers thumb it was fun. Greyson makes a lot of assumptions about who Kira is and what she is like. He thinks she is a spoiled little princess and really doesn't want much to do with her, but he is out of options. It was so much fun. I was just waiting for when Greyson would realize that he was being a huge judgemental jerk. I loved it.

The best thing about the story is it is kind of fairy tale-ish, but the scaly dragon who breathes fire falls in love with his little witch. I loved that. I loved the imagery and just everything about it. How it started off as a negative, but soon turned into terms on endearment. Really a great read. There are issues and things to overcome, things to work on, to get to the happily every after but it was just beautiful. It was so sweet. It was just a wonderful read. Kira and Greyson are perfect together. It just took them some time to figure that out.
