Review:
Beast Part 1 is the first part of this twisted Beauty & the Beast erotic fairy tale. I must say after reading Hansel and loving it I had high expectations for this book. I love love love Beauty & the Beast so I was looking for an amazing story. This was good, but not as good as the first part of Hansel.
Annabelle is obsessed with Cal Hammond, movie star extraordinaire. She is a virgin, the only one of her friends to still be one, and when they get on the guest list of a celebrity party they decide that she will sleep with Cal that night. If he will have her. For her part, for as much as she is obsessed with him, she doesn't want to have sex. She doesn't even like people touching her, probably not even Cal.
Cal is kind of floating through life. He has a fake girlfriend he has to pose for photos with, a few good friends, and a father that is a drug addict. He makes some bad choices the night he meets Annabelle and ends up in jail. The jail where her step-dad works. Something happened that night that turned him into this cold, ruthless person. When her step-dad ends up on the wrong side of Cal (now knows as Beast) Annabelle arrives just in time to stop him from being murdered. The only problem? She would have to give herself to Beast to save her dad. Can she do it? We shall find out. This was an alright read, some scenes from the end were not so good, but hopefully it will just get better from here.
