Review:
Autumn in London is a continuation of Anna and Ethan's story. The first book left off with Anna heading back to London after erasing her number from Ethan's phone (and his from hers). She didn't want anything more than that one week even though she was falling for him. She didn't think he wanted more, and since she kept saying she didn't he didn't press her on it. He just wanted her to be happy.
They have both been missing each other for these past few months. When Ethan goes to London to oversee a merge with a firm there he is not expecting to find Anna working there. They are so great together, though Anna is annoying at times in this one. As Ethan says he is always no bullshit, but she just gets so worked up about nothing! Like she thinks he knew who she was all along and it was just business for him, he was trying to get intel and stuff, which makes no sense! Did you talk about work at all while you were in New York? No? Then why would he have done this if it was just to get intel? He would be the worst at that since you didn't even tell him you were a lawyer! Geez! She just freaks out all the time.
Even after they both tell the other they love them she won't talk about what will happen when Ethan has to go back to New York. He is ready for this, finally has someone he wants to spend time with, be with, and she is just acting like she might not want the same. Argh it was frustrating at times. Whenever he would try to talk to her she would put him off. Not now, let's wait until the last minute when you are leaving in a few hours. Yeah, that is a great idea. She is so worried that he might not want to continue their relationship which is bull. Why would he still be there and tell her he loves her if he didn't want her? He doesn't do bullshit. He says what he thinks so she needs to get over her insecurities. I hope she is not so bad in the last part of their story. Ethan loves her, she loves him, he is determined to make it work either with her moving to New York or him to London so chill. It will be fine. You will get your happily ever after if you can just calm down and talk to the man. He just wants you to be happy even if that means you leave him and breaking his own heart.
