Synopsis:

Love ignites in the City That Never Sleeps, but can it last?

Review:

Isla and the Happily Ever After was a great read. I loved Isla and Josh and it was just so much fun to read.

Isla has had a crush on Josh forever, though she has never done anything about it. Whenever he is around she gets a bit tongue tied. They both go to the same American school in Paris. Isla has a great bff she spends most of her time with who has aspergers and she is just a great person, though she doesn't know what she wants to do with her life after high school. She doesn't even know where she wants to go to college and that freaks her out at times. She feels like she should know what she wants to do even though she is still so young.

Josh is an artist. He is always drawing something. He has his life figured out. He knows what he is doing after high school, what he wants to do with his life, what he wants to be. He started making a comic of his high school life since going to Paris and he was pretty great. He has always been intrigued by Isla and wanted to get to know her better, but every time he tries to talk to her she seems to not want anything to do with him. They have some shared interests, but he doesn't think she likes him for whatever reason.

This story opens in New York when Isla runs into Josh late at night when she is a little loopy from pain meds and getting something to eat. Since she is on pain meds she actually talks to Josh and it is so cute. The next day, however, is all what is going to happen? What does this mean? Will he talk to her now?

Nothing really happens till the get back to school. Once there it was really a sweet read. Josh is so nice, he is so great with Isla, and Isla is amazing. They start hanging out and things are pretty great. I loved them together. There are some bumps in the road, some things that Isla needs to figure out before they can find their happily ever after, but I loved it. Even though I didn't really see all of Isla's issues (when someone else would say this is what you are doing and why I didn't really see it all the time), but I didn't mind. These two were great together and I loved them.  Watching her try and work through everything and figure everything out. I just really liked reading her, and Josh was so sweet and amazing. Loved this story.
