Wow I thought I loved the second book in this series, but Winter's Heat...wow is it good. This is the first in the series and it starts off so good!
Colby Winters is a member of The Titan Group. He is tough and strong and so sexy. When Mia gets mixed up in his mission he could have just let her be and have the cops handle it, but he doesn't. There is something about her that gets to him. Plus he wants to know why she was there to pick up the package he was supposed to get. The package that gets complicated since there was another extraction team there at the same time.
Mia is not some secret spy. At least Colby doesn't think so. She sure acts like a normal citizen, but then how did she get mixed up in all of this. Mia is just trying to do what she thinks is right, but being kidnapped by this big scary guy wasn't on her to do list for the day. He says he is the good guys, but can she trust him? Why does she even want to after he kidnapped her? Only there is something about him that draws her to him.
When things start getting crazy, when it is obvious someone is after Mia, Colby will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. This story is hot and exciting and fun and such oh so good. Every time I think okay they just have to get through this one thing, get out of this one bad situation, then happily ever after it doesn't happen. Something else pops up that just makes things worse. Things don't go as planned or a new situation occurs. I loved it! Lots of action, more that most books I have read, but also super hot and sexy. Mia and Colby are obvious meant to be! Really when you find out all of Colby's secrets...he is just too cute! Mia has her own issues, both don't know what is going on between them, but in the end it all works out. There was some heartache to get there but it was worth it. Oh I loved this story!
