Sweet Girl (Titan #1.5) by Cristin Harber

Sweet Girl (Titan series)

Synopsis:

Sometimes falling in love means going through hell...

She's a sweet girl.
Nicola Hart grew up under the heels of her older brother and his sexy best friend, Cash Garrison. Years of ignoring her spark with Cash has transformed their friendship into a slow burning sizzle. One night with him could ruin everything. Or it could be more than she ever dreamed. They play. They flirt. But they haven't crossed the line because too much is at stake. Family. Friendship. And the deepest kind of love that she'd have to be crazy to walk away from.

He can't stay away from.
She's his best friend's little sister. The definition of hands off. Cash has tried to ignore her for years. Those innocent eyes and her smile that screams kiss-me-if-you-dare... Instead, he's looked at every pretty little thing who's crossed his path, all to ignore the girl he seems destined to want. But when his hard partying ways get old and everyone at school is interested in Nicola, it's time to stake a claim. To make Nicola his girl, no matter the risks, and hold the hand of the one he really loves.

Sweet Girl is the full length prequel to bestselling Garrison's Creed. Before Cash and Nicola can fall in love forever, they have to suffer through their first love.

Review:

Darn you Cristin Harber! I finished your Only series and saw the note that Sweet Girl was free on amazon. So I downloaded it to see what a full length book by you would be like, if it was as good as your novella series, and now I suspect I will be up late into the night reading Garrison's Creed. I need to see how Cash and Nic get their happily ever after! Good thing I don't have to be up early tomorrow....

So Sweet Girl. Phew. It ends with a bit of heartache. Or a lot. This is the story of Cash and Nic. Best friends forever who both want more. Nic is Roman's sister, Roman who is also Cash's best friend. The three of them are always together and the two guys try to fend off the boys who are not good enough for Nic.

Nic has always had a crush on Cash. Too bad he is a player who sleeps with lots of girls. Too bad nothing will ever come of it as he doesn't see her that way.

Cash has always had a crush on Nic, but could never do anything about it. He only ever hooked up with other girls as he couldn't have the one he really wanted. After all she is Roman's sister. Nothing can happen there. Until it does. Man was it hot. These two...phew. Cash is all kinds of hot and when he is in he is all in. He wants Nic and once he crosses that line that is it for him. He was so sweet and cute and just amazing.

Nic knows Cash is it for her too, though she is unsure of his feelings at times. Watching her try and figure out if he really likes her or if she should do something about it could have been really annoying but it worked. She is kind of insecure with the whole thing which made me just want to give her a big hug and tell her everything will obviously work out. He is so smitten with her. Cash is obviously head over heels for her and she shouldn't be so afraid of what will happen with them. She is also a bit naive with her work and trying to figure things out the way she does. I don't really know why her work hired an intern in the first place, but Nic is not the brightest at times in that regards. Or she is, but not really careful enough. There were times when I was just yelling at her in my head as I didn't want anything bad to happen to her. Then we have the super heartbreaking ending and I need to go read Garrison's Creed so I can see what happens!! I just loved Cash and Nic and can't wait to see how everything turns out!
