Review:

Wow, for the most part Forever Jack was so much better than Eversea. I really felt like I got to know Jack in this one and it really just was so good until towards the end. Such a difference from the first one. I was so surprised when I started reading and couldn't put it down.

So if you have not read Eversea yet you probably should as this story picks up right where that left off. Jack is back with Audrey as she claimed to be pregnant with his baby and Keri Ann was all heartbroken and ran out when she found out. A few months later it is all over the news that Jack and Audrey broke up and a friend of his comes to see Keri Ann giving her hope that Jack might come back for her. Well he never shows. He has a good reason, he is trying to protect Keri Ann, but she doesn't know this. Forever Jack was written from Kerri Ann and Jack's point of view which was great. You could really see what Jack was like and how much he cared for Keri Ann. Much better than the first book.

When Jack finally shows up again Keri Ann is very angry with him. She won't even let him explain and she just kind of keeps running, but she can't really get away. Jack finally figures out a way to get her to speak to him and then they are great. Really this played out so much better than I had thought it would. Keri Ann seems believable with her anger and everything and Jack is just so heartbroken. Once she gives in he warns her that if she really wants to do this then she has to be all in and okay with his movie star lifestyle and everything that comes with that. She will have to learn to deal with the fame by association and such, and Keri Ann just jumps right in like no problem.

Well pretty quick it is a problem. She wants them to keep their relationship a secret as she is so concerned with what other people think. Jack is fine with that as he wants to try and keep her out of the spotlight as much as possible since he knows she doesn't want it. There are some great times, but then once people find out about them Keri Ann quickly starts to turn into the annoying girl she was in the first one. She is a bit self centered and is way too concerned with what everyone will think. Jack is trying really hard to make this as easy as possible for Keri Ann and she just kind of throws it back in his face. By the end she is punishing him for something he can't control. It was a little upsetting as Jack was so kind to her and tried so hard to be amazing to her and she just didn't seem to care. She is so obsessed with being her own person and not having anyone know that she is with Jack because then his fame could trump hers. She seems to think she will be like her mom and have to give up her life and what she wants if she wants to be with him which is crazy. Jack is proud of her and what she has accomplished and only wants to help her, but she doesn't want his help. She really just needed to learn to deal with everything and see how this is not the end of the world. Having people know you are with Jack is not the end of you, it could be amazing for you. Sure there will be rough times adjusting to being in the spotlight, but if you love him as much as you say you do maybe you should try and figure this out with him. She was so stubborn and I wanted to yell at her at times. It all works out though in the end, and overall I did really enjoy this story. Much more so than the first book.
