#BookBlogWriMo Day 4: Why You Blog
Day 4: Why I Blog
Why do I blog? For some reason I am not quite sure how to answer this question. I wrote about why I started the other day, but why do I blog in general? Well let's see what I can come up with. Sometimes I start writing and things just come out that I didn't expect.
I blog because it helps me be part of an amazing community of authors, readers, and fellow bloggers. I never knew there was such a world until I started to dip my toes into book blogging. It is really great having this community of people to share my love of all things books with. You meet a lot of great people who get you and why you love reading so much.
I blog because sometimes I just have to get these thoughts out of my head. I am very opinionated and if I really love or really hate something I need to get it out. I will talk someones ear off about my thoughts, but until I type them out or get them down on paper they won't leave me alone. I need to get them out of my head so I can stop thinking about them or else I can't sleep. I need to write them down.
I blog for myself just because I like having my thoughts there for me to look back on. If I blog my reviews I make them better than if I were to just write a review on Goodreads or something. When I write out a blog post review I think about the book more than if I just put two sentences down in some other place. It helps me digest the story. Then when I am trying to remember if I enjoyed a book and why I can go back and see what I thought.
I blog because I like to. I like doing it. I like writing things down and sharing with the world.
I blog because why not?
