Blog Challenge: #BookBlogWriMo
I have always heard of NaNoWriMo and similar month long events where you participate by completing something in a month and been a little jealous. I am not a writer, so that is a no go (my husband used to bug me telling me I should write a book since I read so much. My reply? Reading and writing are two different things). My husband would participate in a make an album in a month challenge since he is a musician, but me? I don't really have anything. When I saw Book Bumblings is hosting a blogger challenge, BookBlogWriMo, I thought yes! Something I can participate in! It is like NaNoWriMo, but for book bloggers. I am excited since it will a) add posts other than reviews to the site and b) let my readers learn a little more about me. I will still have my normal reviews up every day so this will be in addition to that.
How does it work? Well starting November 1 there is a post prompt for every day indicating what I will be writing about. Some posts will be longer, some will be shorter, but all will hopefully be fun to read. Now I am excited for November!
Day 2: How You Read
Day 3: Where You Read
Day 4: Why You Blog
Day 5: Where You Blog
Day 6: #TBT – Favorite Childhood Books
Day 7: #FlashbackFriday – Blog’s First Design

I am so excited to start this challenge too! I have always kinda of wanted to do NaNoWriMo, but it has not been a possibility because of my lack of writing expertise and lack of time. I do agree that reading and writing are two completely different things.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the challenge!
Thanks! Good luck to you as well. It should be fun :)
DeleteI'm so glad to have you (you too, Tessa!)! I'm glad I'm not the only one jealous of NaNoWriMo. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not the only one jealous of NaNoWriMo! Thank you so much for putting this together. Now if only November would get here...
DeleteI am so excited about participating in this!
